Executive MBA Globe Award for Teaching Excellence
Gordon Bodnar was honored as this year's recipient of the Executive MBA Globe Award for teaching excellence. Bodnar is the Morris W. Offit Professor of International Finance at the Nitze School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University. His areas of expertise include international financial markets, international finance, corporate finance, and multinational corporations. Bodnar serves as associate editor of European Financial Management, the Journal of Asian Economics, and the Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money. He also teaches in the Wharton Executive MBA Program.
The Globe Award for Teaching Excellence honors an Executive MBA faculty member who demonstrates a command of subject matter and also possesses the creativity, dedication, and enthusiasm essential to meet the unique challenges of the EMBA education. The faculty member is selected on the basis of his or her enduring educational influence in motivating students towards achievement and excellence throughout their studies at Cornell. Each year, the graduating EMBA class presents the award to the selected faculty recipient during the Johnson School commencement ceremony.
