Administrative Science Quarterly marks 50th anniversary
Administrative Science Quarterly (ASQ), a scholarly journal published by the Johnson School at Cornell University since the school's inception in 1956, marked its 50th anniversary this year. Widely recognized as one of the top journals in the fields of organizational theory and organizational behavior, ASQ has flourished under the stewardship of its award-winning managing editor, Linda Johanson, for the past 26 years. As a fitting testimony to the scholarly journal's global reputation and relevance, ASQ's best articles were published in Chinese for the first time last year by Peking University's Guanghua School of Management. The edition is part of a "best of" series on managerial subjects. "We've always had subscribers to ASQ in China," noted Johanson. "By translating our most influential articles into Chinese, this special edition makes them available to a much broader audience."
