Jan H. Suwinski, senior lecturer of operations management, was appointed to the board of directors for ACI Worldwide, Inc., a leading international provider of solutions for banking, retail and cross-industry systems. ACI serves more than 800 customers in 84 countries including many of the world's largest financial institutions, retailers and payment processors.

Maureen O'Hara, Robert W. Purcell Professor of Management and professor of finance, was appointed chairman of the board at Investment Technology Group, Inc., a specialized agency brokerage and technology firm that partners with clients globally to provide innovative solutions spanning the entire investment process. O'Hara has been a director at Investment Technology Group since January 2003 and lead director since January 2005.

Dana Radcliffe was appointed Day Family Senior Lecturer in Business Ethics, a position created in September 2007 by the establishment of the Day Family Senior Lecturer in Business Ethics Discretionary Fund, an endowed fund that supports business ethics programs at the Johnson School and at Cornell Law School, and made possible by the generous donation of the Dr. Harry M. Day Charitable Foundation. Radcliffe has been teaching classes in business ethics, corporate responsibility and leadership at the Johnson School since 2000 and has been responsible for leading the school's ethics-related events and initiatives.

Sachin Gupta, professor of marketing, was named 2006-07 recipient of the Johnson School's Faculty Research Award in recognition of outstanding research contributions and achievements. Gupta is a well-known and influential marketing scholar whose research focuses on how marketing models can help firms gather and analyze market data to make better marketing decisions about segmentation, targeting, and positioning.
