Club President: Oded Anderman, MBA ’04
The Johnson Club of New York has done a tremendous job growing their club over the years. With the leadership of Oded Anderman, MBA ’04, the club has planned and executed a wide variety of events for the 2,000 alumni in the metro New York City area, including alumni panels, faculty speakers, professional networking and social events, and also, family-oriented activities. All of the club’s board members actively help to engage Johnson alumni in the metro New York region to keep them connected with one another and with the school.
One successful, exciting event that took place in the past year was a wine tasting held at a naïve art gallery on Manhattan’s upper west side, organized by Kara Christian and Matt Trokey, both MBA ’04. The club also hosts an annual panel discussion focused on financial markets.
“Alumni in the metro area of New York are open and approachable to students and other alumni,” says club president Oded Anderman. “Oftentimes, alumni and students contact alumni in fields or firms that interest them in order to have an informational chat or explore career possibilities.”
