Ron Scharman, MBA '83, has been named the new chief operating officer of Chatterbox Wine Marketing in Napa, Calif. Scharman is an instructor in Wine eCommerce and Consumer Direct Marketing at Sonoma State University’s Wine Business Institute. He was formerly president of eWinery Solutions, one of the pioneering companies in developing ecommerce and POS software applications for the wine industry.

Cathy Dove, MBA ’84, has been named the 10th president of Paul Smith’s College in the Adirondacks. Dove moves on from being a vice president of Cornell Tech since 2012. Dove had been responsible for all administrative, operational, outreach, capital planning and construction functions for the campus currently under construction on Roosevelt Island and at its temporary location in Manhattan. “In Cathy, Paul Smith’s College has found an exceptional leader,” Cornell President David J.
