Get to know your Johnson alumni career advisors
Career tips from Laurie Sedgwick and Lynne Allen
I am incredibly excited to announce that my colleague Lynne Allen and I are taking ownership of Johnson’s alumni career column, Career Corner, and will be writing to you directly as your Johnson alumni career advisors in each issue of Inside Johnson starting now. In each issue of Inside Johnson, we will share information about career resources available to alumni, highlight job postings, provide case studies of job seekers, point you to interesting, career-related articles, and provide other helpful career-related information.
In this first column, I thought I would highlight the services and resources available to you as Johnson alumni. First, you have access to career advisors – email us to schedule an appointment!

In addition to advising assistance, you have access to a wealth of career-related resources including career development and assessment tools, industry and company research databases, job postings, and a platform to upload your résumé for access by employers (Johnson Talent System). In an upcoming edition of Inside Johnson, I’ll highlight additional features of the Johnson Talent System.
A complete list of career resources for Johnson alumni can be found in the Johnson Alumni Career Services website.
Lynne and I also look forward to seeing many of you at Reunion 2013.
