Janet A. Carr '90 has been appointed as senior vice president of Consumer Insights and Strategic Planning at Coach, Inc. The company is a leading marketer of modern American accessories. Lew Frankfort, chairman and chief executive officer of Coach said: "Janet's intellect and strong track record of working with executives to evaluate business opportunities and develop strategic, practical approaches to maximize them maker her a valuable addition to the Coach management team." Carr joined Coach from Gap Inc., where she held the position of vice president, Strategy and Consumer Insights for Gap International. Prior to this role, Carr was vice president, Strategy and Business Development of Banana Republic. Carr's prior positions include serving as the vice president, Corporate Pricing at Safeway and before that, she was a principal in the Consumer Products and Retail Group of Booz-Allen Hamilton.

Scott C. Taylor '90 has been appointed as president and CEO of Dr. Murray Natural Living Inc., producer of all natural, functional foods and beverages. Dr. Murray Natural Living's products are based on the research of Dr. Michael T. Murray, founder and books on health-related topics. Taylor brings marketing, branding and business operations experience to his new position. Prior to joining Dr. Murray Natural Living, he was president of his own marketing consulting firm, Creative Loyalty. Before that Taylor held marketing positions at Colgate-Palmolive and Warner-Lambert.

Lara Jackle '95 is CEO of LightFull Foods, a company that is pioneering "satiety" (learning how to feel satisfied with fewer calories) as a sustainable strategy for eating right. LightFull Foods recently launched its first product—LightFull Satiety Smoothie in Whole Foods and Wegmans. Lara has over 12 years of consumer packaged goods marketing, sales, and management experience with an emphasis on bringing healthy foods to the mass market. Lara graduated in 1994 from the Johnson School with a marketing emphasis and then joined Reckitt Benckiser in product management, where she worked on Resolve Carpet Cleaner, d-Con, Mop & Glo and Lysol. From there, Lara joined Balance Bar as VP of Marketing. During Lara's time at Balance Bar, the company grew from $10 Million to $110 Million in sales and was acquired by Kraft Foods for $268 Million. Since then, Lara has worked in leadership roles at a number of other healthy foods start ups and established companies including Shaklee and Cold Fusion Foods. She has a BS in Finance and a minor in English from the University of Southern California. She is also an avid skier, hiker, and runner.
