Johnson Reunion 2013*
Alumni whose class years end in 3s and 8s came back to campus to celebrate with fellow Johnson classmates, faculty, and staff, June 6-9, 2013
Johnson welcomed nearly 400 members of the Johnson community — alumni, families and friends — back to Cornell for Reunion 2013, June 7-9. Though the weather was a bit wet at the beginning, it did not dampen the spirits of those attending or their enthusiasm in reconnecting with classmates, faculty, and staff. By Saturday afternoon, the clouds lifted just in time for the class photos and the later tent parties.
This year, Johnson celebrated the return of alumni from class years ending in 3s and 8s, beginning with the very first graduating class, the Johnson Class of 1948, represented by Peter Miller, MBA '48, his wife, Nancy, and Herb Englehardt, MBA '48, and his wife, Ann Englehardt '47. The class of 2003 achieved the highest attendance with 58 classmates who returned to campus, and the class of 1993 was not far behind with 35.
Returning alumni represented 16 countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Chile, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Peru, Sweden, the United Kingdom, United States, and Venezuela. U.S. alumni hailed from 24 states.
It was a great time and we invite all alumni to share in some of the sights and sounds of Reunion 2013 by viewing the slideshow and video on this page, as well as videos of the State of the School Address by Dean Soumitra Dutta and the alumni keynote, “Business Myths and Global Realities: Some of the Things I’ve Learned since Graduation” with Hernan J.F. Saenz III, MBA '98, Managing Partner, Bain & Company, and recipient of the 2012 Distinguished Latino Award.
